Forse non lo sapevate ma a determinare la durata di una manicure è la tempistica della stesura del secondo strato di smalto. Come ha spiegato Deborah Lippmann per Lancôme nel backstage di Jason Wu (dove ha usato il Vernis in Love in Beige Romance), bisogna aspettare che i solventi evaporino prima di applicare quel secondo strato. Quindi, d’ora in poi, aspettate fino a che non l’aspetto “wet” non scompare, altrimenti lo smalto non si asciugherà mai fino in fondo. Ne’ oggi, ne’ domani e dopo neanche due giorni la vostra manicure verrà via che è un piacere. Ci vogliono solo due minuti, abbiate pazienza e vedrete il risultato!

In case you didn’t know, it’s your second coat of polish that determines how long your manicure lasts. As Deborah Lippmann for Lancôme explained backstage at Jason Wu (the brand's Vernis in Love in Beige Romance was used in the show) you need to let the solvents evaporate before applying that second coat.  So wait until that really wet look goes away because, if you don't, the polish never dries to the bottom. Not even tomorrow. By tomorrow or the next day, the polish will come off in a sheet or it will come off in huge chunks. It just takes two minutes, be patient and you will be rewarded!
