Arriva l’estate e arriva il caldo. Finalmente, certo, ma avete pensato al vostro make-up? Non c’è niente di peggio, infatti, di vederlo sciogliere sotto i vostri occhi. Per correre ai ripari pensate waterproof e provate la linea Aqua di Make Up For Ever che è nata proprio per stare in questo ambiente. Testata infatti fino a cinque ore sott’acqua è stata pensata per rispondere alle esigenze di Muriel Hermine, la campionessa di nuoto sincronizzato del Parisian Aquatic Ballet. Una garanzia, dunque. 

I miei must-have della collezione in questione sono l’Aqua Matic e l’Aqua Rouge.

Il primo è una linea di ombretti in matita retraibile che oltre ad essere, appunto, waterproof, non macchia, non forma linee sulla palpebra ed è no-transfer. Veramente. La pigmentazione, inoltre, è incredibile e la texture cremosa scivola sulla palpebra e si sfuma facilmente con le dita. Anche senza l’uso di un primer, Aqua Matic non si muove e non si deposita nelle pieghe, solo il colore potrebbe sbiadire leggermente a fine giornata. 

La collezione Summer 2014 comprende dieci nuance e fra queste le mie preferite sono Iridiscent Turquoise e Iridiscent Lime Green, due tonalità d’impatto in perfetta armonia con le tendenze di stagione. Ho provato anche il Metallic Pinky Beige, ma per mia carnagione olivastra è troppo rosa.

Passiamo ora alle labbra. Chi non sogna di indossare un rossetto audace senza mettere mano allo specchietto ogni cinque minuti per controllare che non sbavi? Aqua Rouge è la soluzione a tutti gli inconvenienti del caso. La sua formula infatti, contiene un’alta concentrazione di pigmenti e un polimero pesante che apporta un colore ricco e a lunghissima tenuta senza lasciare tracce. A prova di bacio, dunque. Ma non secca, vi chiederete? No, o almeno non tanto quanto i rossetti simili. Grazie al suo applicatore in due fasi, non appena sentite le labbra tirare, potete rivestirle con un ulteriore strato di top coat, che ristabilirà il livello di idratazione ottimale. 

Il colore di quest’anno è il Light Rosewood che arricchise la già completissima gamma. Il mio preferito rimane pero il n.18, Coral, che si allinea con discrezione alla tendenza delle labbra arancio. 

Il mio consiglio è dunque di provare questi prodotti, non rimarrete affatto deluse.

Summer is finally here but with it came humidity, heat and - oh no! - melting makeup. Luckily,  Make Up For Ever has always a solution for everything and the Aqua collection was designed specifically for that environment.*

My favorites products of the line are Aqua Matic and Aqua Rouge.

Aqua Matic is a line of waterproof, crease-proof and smudge-proof eye-shadow sticks that draw on easily with no tugging and are super easy to blend out with a finger before they set.

The pigmentation is amazing and the texture is smooth and creamy. They truly are crease-free, even without a primer, and last all day with only a tiny bit of fading at the end, but no smudging or melting away.

For summer 2014 ten shades have been released and my favorites are Iridiscent Turquoise and Iridiscent Lime Green. I tried as well the nude Metallic Pinky Beige but for my olive complexion it was too pinky. 

As for the lips, if you are in need of a long-lasting, high-impact colour lipstick, you should call in Aqua Rouge. Its revolutionary formula has a combination of high molecular weight polymers and volatile oils that locks color on the lips for a waterproof, smudge-proof result that will not transfer or fade. Of course, when it comes to a liquid lip color that is as long lasting as this one, a bit of dryness is expected. But Make Up For Ever Aqua Rouge makes it totally bearable. In fact, when your lips will start to feel slightly tight you just need to apply a layer of lip balm or the glossy topcoat.

I highly recommend both Aqua Matic and Aqua Rouge if you want to impress everyone!
