Con grande sorpresa di tutte le beauty editor e delle make-up addicted, un prodotto must-have è scomparso dai backstage della New York Fashion Week Fall 2015: l’highlighter. L’alleato beauty più acclamato e sponsorizzato delle ultime stagioni ha dato forfait ma, nel ritirarsi dal palcoscenico, non ha lasciato le modelle sfilare con carnagioni spente e opache e ha ceduto il passo a una valida alternativa molto più basica, ma non per questo meno efficace: la crema idratante. Il prodotto più banalmente presente nei beauty case di ogni donna, vivrà da oggi una nuova vita, facendo risplendere zigomi e punti strategici di salute e naturalezza. Un trucco usato nei backstage di Donna Karan, Jason Wu, Rag & Bone e Victoria Beckham dove guru del makeup del calibro di Charlotte Tilbury, Diane Kendal, Gucci Westman e Pat McGrath hanno dimostrato di credere ciecamente nel potere del nuovo alleato nel far splendere l’incarnato. 

Mai un trend da backstage sarà applicato meglio nella vita di tutti i giorni, specialmente durante le rigide giornate invernali, quando la pelle richiede una dose extra di idratazione.

Much to the surprise of makeup junkies and beauty editors everywhere, there is one product that, during this NYFW for Fall 2015 was nowhere to be found backstage: the highlighter.
