Eyes like a work of art: YSL Couture Palette

Strizzano l’occhio ai famosi abiti Mondrian di Yves Sain Laurent le nuove palette di ombretti della Maison francese. In un puzzle di cinque colori nasce la YSL Couture Palette 2014 che, con le sue linee nere e grafiche e il suo guardaroba cromatico, reinterpreta i codici senza tempo della Maison, rispecchiandone la qualità e lo spirito innovativo in una formula di nuova generazione che grazie alla tecnologia “Pure Colour Catalyst” garantisce colori intessuti di giochi di texture che resistono per tutto il giorno.

Da oggi non mancherà più il volto alla donna che YSL veste, neanche a fine serata.*

Fra tutte le undici armonie presentate per la collezione estiva io ho scelto la più sgargiante, la N.10, Lumière Majorelle che si ispira a un giardino orientale, al blu delle sue ceramiche, al verde della sua natura e al giallo dei suoi limoni. Per un mix di colori che abbagliano e che si prestano ad infinite combinazioni: dalla più bold e monocromatica fino alla più sofisticata che sfuma in infinite possibilità tutti e cinque i colori. 

*Per chi non lo sapesse la linea di maquillage del brand è stata lanciata nel 1978 e per l’occasione Saint Laurent disse: “Manca un volto alla donna che vesto”.

Inspired by the legendary “Mondrian” dresses created by Mr. Saint Laurent, the new YSL Couture Palette captures the very essence of the House. In a puzzle of five shades it interprets anew the timeless codes that distinguish the brand, with its black Couture graphic lines and its chromatic wardrobe, not to mention the new generation formula that guarantees a long-lasting array of shades and effects.

Between all the 11 palettes I picked N.10, Lumière Majorelle, which is inspired by an exotic garden with its blue tiles, its green greenery and its yellow lemons. The result is a colour mix that dazzle with its high-impact associations: from the simplest and boldest monochromatic one to the most creative that blends together all the five shades. Couture Palette, indeed, celebrates the spirit of colour with an infinite choice of looks: magnetic, captivating, unique, ultra sensual.
