It's a California Love with Chanel's L.A. Sunrise makeup Collection
There’s a blush that can dress your cheeks with the colors of a californian sunrise. A lipstick that can coat your lips with freedom. A Stylo Yeux that enhances your eyes with ocean glares. A nail polish that lacquers your nails with a moody purple. All of this is contained in Chanel’s Spring 2016 L.A. Sunrise Collection, a makeup gem that pays homage to the City of Angels, to its free spirit, flamboyant colours and overflowing energy.
Absolute star and exclusive creation of the collection, Sunkiss Ribbon is a light-diffusing blush that delivers a dazzling natural glow. It couldn’t be more appealing and multitasking, packing in one sigle product those same ribbons of color that are traced in the sky when the sun peaks its head over the California ocean. Fuchsia pink, soft coral, intense red, coppery beige and fresh pink can be blended together on the visage to awaken the radiance, can be build up to make cheeks flush with a vibrant energy, or used on their own depending on the mood. The formula is fabulous, the powder is finely milled and fully pigmented. Some say that it’s not easy to pick a single shade and, truth to be told, all the nuances of Sunkiss Ribbon were created to be used together to deliver a divine glow. Still, in my opinion, picking one shade or the other is a great option if you want to change your look from time to time.
Moving on the eyes, the energy still permeates the look and the iconic Stylo Yeux Waterproof are available in three new colors, two of which are my favorites: Purple Choc, a deep purple with warm micro-shimmers, and Fervent Blue a captivating shade that make eyes sparkle with the glares of the ocean. On the lips, light boldly explodes with Rouge Coco Shine in Mighty, a bright pink lipstick that will never put you in the shadow. Finally nails are lacquered with Le Vernis Nail Gloss Sunrise Trip, a new shade that lies in between blue and purple and that features a new jelly formula with which you will for sure fall in love.

Sunrise di Chanel rimanda alla Città degli Angeli, al suo spirito libero, allo sfavillio dei suoi colori e alla sua energia vibrante.
Star assoluta della collezione, il blush Sunkiss Ribbon è un fard sublimatore di luce, una creazione intrigante e multitasking che racchiude in un unico prodotto le stesse bande di colore che, la mattina, tingono i cieli della costa occidentale. Rosa fucsia, corallo, rosa mattone, beige ramato e rosa antico si usano insieme su tutto il viso per risvegliare la luminosità dell’incarnato, si modulano sulle gote per donargli un’energia vibrante dagli sfavillii dorati, si usano soli a seconda del mood. La formula è favolosa, le polveri sottilissime e perfettamente pigmentate. C’è chi dice di non riuscire ad usare le singole sfumature eppure, secondo me, per quanto miscelate tutte insieme conferiscano un glow divino, sono assolutamente utilizzabili anche da sole.
Dall’incarnato agli occhi l’energia non cambia e le iconiche Stylo Yeux Waterproof si vestono di tre nuovi colori, di cui due sono i miei preferiti: Purple Choc, un viola profondo quasi nero dai riflessi caldi e Fervent Blue che veste lo sguardo con i riverberi delle onde. Le labbra si esaltano invece in trasparenza con il Rouge Coco Shine in Mighty, un rossetto rosa vivo che dà quel tocco in più al look. Infine le unghie si tingono di un viola che vira al blu con il Le Vernis Nail Gloss in Sunrise Trip, una nuova formula di smalto jelly che vi farà innamorare.
