Fashion Week Dilemma: how to keep your makeup lustre throughout the day
No more makeup touch-ups, the dream of every girl on-the-go. Especially during Fashion Week when the time and the busy schedules are not our friends. That’s why chez Giorgio Armani Beauty they created Armani Prima, a skincare range thought for makeup wearer which aim is to improve skin quality and hence keep alive the glow of your look for all the day long. Born backstage in collaboration with Linda Cantello, Prima can be considered as an hybrid between skincare, a CC Cream and primer thanks to its out-of-the-box technical formulation approach that provides simple and efficient skin-care solutions in favor of makeup’s staying power.
I put it through the paces for two days and I have to say that so far it works wonderfully.
The Smart Moisture Serum is an endless source of hydration for the skin, and when skin is well moisturized we all know that it glows from within. The bright side of this serum is that other than being truly weightless, it can be applied all over face and neck but will work only where needed.
The Day Long Skin Perfector is a real face-savior when you tend to have that oily-shine form mid-morning on. Used on nose, chin, forehead and eyelids (or any areas specific to your skin) it smoothes, mattifies, regulates hydration and therefore, amp up the staying power. I love the result I get when I use it on my lids, the eyeshadow really stay put for all the day.
Now, I’m not a fan of the so-many-products morning beauty routine but, when hectic schedules are involved I think that a minute more is a great investment for the day to come. That’s why I’m starting to consider Armani Prima as my perfect day ally to be flawless form am to pm.

I suoi prodotti sono intuitivi, semplici da usare ed efficaci nel risultato. Io li ho provati in questi ultimi due giorni e direi proprio che so far so good.
Lo Smart Moisture Serum è una fonte inesauribile di idratazione per la pelle e, si sa, quando la pelle è ben idratata è come se si illuminasse dall'interno. Tanto leggero da essere impercettibile questo siero idratante è anche intelligente: si applica su tutto il viso (e collo se necessario) ma, durante la giornata, andrà a svolgere un’azione mirata in base alle esigenze delle singole zone. Credetemi, fa la differenza.
Il Day Long Skin Perfector è un vero e proprio salva-faccia per chi tende a luccicare da metà mattina in poi. Usato su naso, mento, fronte e palpebre (o qualsiasi altra zone specifica) leviga, opacizza, regola l'idratazione e quindi, migliora la capacità di resistenza del trucco. Adoro letteralmente il risultato che ottengo quando lo uso sulle palpebre, l'ombretto tiene davvero per tutto il giorno senza sbiadire o sbavare.
Ora diciamocelo, io non sono una grande fan delle beauty-routine mattutine con mille prodotti ma, ammetto, che quando si parla di giornate frenetiche preferisco investire un minuto in più alla mattina piuttosto che passare la giornata con lo specchietto in mano. E proprio per questo sto iniziando a considerare Armani Prima come mia alleata per essere perfetta tutto il giorno.
