È tutto un nuovo significato quello che Dolce & Gabbana, con la sua collezione di rossetti Miss Sicily, da all’ultima tendenza “Color & Care”: mentre quest'anno tutte le altre marche hanno lanciato degli ibridi, D&G Beauty ha portato il concetto e la gestualità del rossetto day-to-day a un nuovo livello, quello di una dipendenza, luminosa e cocooning. Infatti, la formula dei rossetti Miss Sicily è assolutamente la migliore lanciata sul mercato finora grazie a una texture ultra-leggera e iper-idratante che liscia e riempie le labbra, mentre le colora con toni vibranti e modulabili.

La gamma delle nuance è ispirata all’amata isola di Dolce & Gabbana e raggruppa in 5 famiglie di colore - nude soft, rosa statement, viola vibranti, coralli luminosi e rossi seducenti- 16 rossetti che portano tutti un nome tipico siciliano.
Prendete Maria, è il rosso che conquista, o Anna, il nude my-lips-but-better, e ancora Rosalia, il rosa che vibra o Onofria, il viola scuro che gioca in trasparenza. Ma è Lucia ad avermi conquistato grazie alla sua resa di colore che, nonostante sia una nuance pesca chiara, copre a perfezione le mie labbra iper-pigmentate.

Detto ciò tutte le sfumature sono favolose, una più bella dell’altra e di certo sceglierne una la mattina non è la cosa più semplice (per questo ne ho sparsi vari in borsa e Antonia è al momento dispersa). Ma cos’è che rende i rossetti Miss Sicily di Dolce & Gabbana cosi irrinunciabili?
- Il lasting power che, anche se non dovrebbe essere rilevante per un rossetto color & care, in realtà è favoloso, nonché il migliore che io abbia provato in questa categoria;

- il delicato profumo di vaniglia, che insieme alla texture fondente e confortevole, contribuisce a creare quella dipendenza da riapplicazione compulsiva anche quando non ci sarebbe neanche lontanamente bisogno di un ritocco.

Color & care lipsticks get a whole new meaning thanks to Dolce & Gabbana Miss Sicily collection: while this year all the other brands launched hybrids, D&G Beauty takes the concept of daily lipstick to a new level, that of a luminous and cocooning addiction. In fact, the formula is absolutely the best launch on the market so far and it features a ultra-light and hyper moisturizing texture that smoothes and plumps lips, while coloring them with vibrant and buildable hues.
All Miss Sicily girls: the color range
The range of colors is inspired by Dolce & Gabbana beloved island (Sicily) and groups in 5 color families - nudes, pinks, purples, corals and reds - 16 lipstick that are all have a typical Sicilian name.
Take Maria, it’s the perfect seductive red, or Anna, the my-lips-but-better nude, and again Rosalia, the statement pink or Onofria the moody sheer purple. Yet Lucia is the shade I’m using the most and I was surprised by the color payoff of such a light peachy color.

Why Dolce & Gabbana Miss Sicily lipstick is the best in the color and care department
Given that all the shades are beautiful and choosing one in the morning isn’t the easiest task, there is something that, in my opinion, makes Dolce & Gabbana Miss Sicily lipstick collection a real makeup must:
- the lasting power, even if shouldn’t be relevant for a colour and care lipstick, it actually lasts longer than the others;
- the moisturizing factor that plumps and smoothes lips beautifully;
- the delicate vanilla scent, that along with the melting and cocooning texture, contributes to that addicting need of touching up even when it’s not necessary.
