Leave it to Giorgio Armani to bottle summer in three scents: Acqua di Gioia, Sun di Gioia and Air di Gioia
La limpidezza dell’acqua di mare, il calore del sole, la carezza dell’aria che avvolge la pelle nuda. Sinonimo d’estate, queste piacevoli sensazioni sono state racchiuse in tre profumi, una trilogia firmata Giorgio Armani che null’altro vuole fare se non riconnettere chi li indossa alla natura e alla gioia di essa. La limpidezza di Acqua di Gioia, la sua eleganza intrinseca, è ormai nota a tutti. È un’iconica Eau De Parfum che sta facendo storia per la sua composizione trasparente, pura e fluida in ogni aspetto che, quest’anno, ha dato il là alla creazione di altre due fragranze: Sun di Gioia e Air di Gioia. Nate dalla scia marina di Acqua di Gioia, Sun e Air completano un quadro che parla d’estate, che avvolge il corpo e i sensi con quell’inafferrabile euforia tipica della stagione. La gioia, appunto.
Sun di Gioia null’altro è che luce, calore, energia. È una fragranza che dà vita a un sogno, che ruota intorno a un cuore di ylang-ylang, un po’ solare e un po’ piccante, che viene introdotto dalla frizzantezza del bergamotto e completato dalla rotondità del latte di vaniglia. È un orientale-fiorito non stucchevole, è quella fragranza che veramente completa le giornate estive, sottolineando lo spirito libero e sensuale di una donna baciata dal sole. È più carica, più sicura di sé, si piace e non ha paura di mostrarlo ma lo fa con eleganza e savoir-faire, come si confà alla donna Armani.
Anche Air di Gioia parla di frizzantezza ed energia, ma lo fa in modo più sottile, sussurra come la brezza marina la sua carica ricca di elementi e sensazioni. È più libera, delicata, pura ma non per questo meno euforizzante. Anzi. Air di Gioia è un profumo etereo come la sua nota di cuore, l’inafferrabile peonia, che viene messa in risalto dall’accordo marino delle note di testa e dalle note acquose del patchouli di fondo. È libertà, spensieratezza. È un chypre-fiorito leggero come l’aria, tanto impalpabile quanto avvolgente.

Dal tour in barca per le baie più belle della costa e tra le grotte tanto azzurre da sembrare irreali, ai bagni rinfrescanti, fino pranzi in spiaggia con i piedi nella sabbia e ai giri in elicottero sopra l’Etna per sentirsi tutt’uno con l’aria.

The clarity of Acqua di Gioia, its inherent elegance, is well known to all. It is an iconic Eau De Toilette that is making history for its transparent, pure and fluid composition that, this year, gave life to the creation of two more fragrances: Sun di Gioia and Air di Gioia. Born from the marine trail of Acqua di Gioia, Sun and Air complete a picture that speaks of summer, which wraps the body and the senses with that elusive euphoria typical of the season. Joy, indeed.
Sun di Gioia is nothing else than light, heat and energy. It is a fragrance that gives life to a dream, which revolves around a heart of ylang-ylang, a little sunny and a bit spicy, which is introduced by the sparkling bergamot and completed by the roundness of vanilla milk. It is an oriental-flowery not cloying at all, it is the fragrance that truly complete summer days, stressing the free and sensual spirit of a woman kissed by the sun. She ispsyched up, more self-confident, she likes herself and she’s not afraid to show it, but she always does it with elegance and savoir-faire, as befits every Armani woman.
Even Air di Gioia speaks of liveliness and energy, but it does it in a more subtle way, it whispers like the breeze its soul rich of elements and sensations. It's free, delicate, pure, but not less euphoric. on the contrary. Air di Gioia is as ethereal as its heart note, the elusive peony, which is enhanced by the marine vibes of the top notes and that of the watery patchouli of the base. It's freedom, carefreeness. It is a flowery-chypre light as air, as impalpable as enveloping.
Water, Sun and Air. Not even were the quintessence of summer, the mirror of a nature that takes refuge in a perfume bottle. Three elements that become olfactory pathways, a plunge in the sea cool water, a kiss of the sun, an air burst that ruffles the salty hair. Ant it is this reason that Giorgio Armani Parfums team - to celebrate the launch of the Air di Gioia and Sun di Gioia - has invited us (a selected group of international bloggers) to live a unique experience, two days of carefreeness in the Sicilian frame of Taormina where we lived every feeling that this trilogy can express. From boat tours in the most beautiful bays and blue caves of the coast, to (extremely) refreshing baths, not to mention lunches on the beach with feet in the sand and helicopter rides over the Etna to really become one with theelement of air.
