Bright and brash, this is all can be said about Jeremy Scott’s Moschino fashion show. Imagine a hybrid of Ronald McDonald and Coco Chanel walking down the runway and laugh out loud. It was funny, indeed, and that was why make-up and hair maintained a low profile - which at Maison Moschino it means easy, yet inspired.
Lucia Pieroni for MAC Cosmetics created a Peter Linbergh girl using lots of highlight and shine and a bit of shading.
The gorgeous skin was first set with Mineralize Moisture SPF15 Foundation then illuminated with a dab of Pearl Cream Colour Base across the cheekbone and through the center of the face. To finish Vanilla Pigment Powder was used all over while nose and cheeks got Give Me Sun Mineralize Skinfinish. Eventually, eyes were left natural, eyebrows were defined with taupe Omega eye shadow for a boyish look and lips got a hint of Studio Finished Concealer.
Iconic stars with pixie cuts were the inspirations to Paul Hanlon hairstyle. Using as a starting point Audrey Hepburn, Jean Seberg and Mia Farrow’ looks he created a short wig and added a punk and deconstruct texture.

Geniale e irriverente, queste le migliori parole per definire la sfilata di Moschino diretta da Jeremy Scott. Immaginatevi degli ibridi di Ronald McDonald e Coco Chanel cavalcare le passerelle e ridete. Divertente è stato divertente, portabile non so quanto. Ecco perché hair e make-up hanno tenuto un profilo basso (ma comunque denso di significati e ispirazioni, non dimenticate che siamo da Moschino e nulla è lasciato al caso).
Lucia Pieroni per MAC Cosmetics ha dato vita a delle ragazze in stile Peter Linbergh usando punti di luce e giochi di ombre. La pelle flawless è stata sistemata grazie al Mineralize Moisture SPF15 Foundation e poi illuminata nei punti strategici di zigomi e centro viso con la Pearl Cream Colour Base. A fissare il tutto ci ha pensato la Vanilla Pigment Powder che è stata accompagnata da un tocco di Give Me Sun Mineralize Skinfinish su naso e guance. Per finire gli occhi sono stati lasciati au naturel, le ciglia sono state definite con l’ombretto taupe Omega e le labbra con lo Studio Finished Concealer.
I capelli, dal canto loro, sono stati impressive. Ispirazione Audrey Hepburn, Jean Seberg, Mia Farrow e i loro pixie crop, che Paul Hanlon ha rivisitato in parrucche con un piglio punk e destrutturato.
