It’s a sunlight drenched makeup collection. It’s summer at first sight. Don’t expect nothing too colorful form Chanel’s latest summer gem Dans La Lumière de l'Été, only a lot of naturalness, gleams and shine. And this is why I deeply fell in love with it. It looks natural, it feels natural. Yet it's glamourous.
Wondering how I achieved this look? Here is it, step by step:
1. Prep the skin with Chanel Hydra Beauty Lotion Very Moist and then apply the Hydra Beauty Micro Serum.
2. Apply the new Les Beiges foundation all over the face, starting from the center and blending it outwards. Don't forget the neck to get an even result.
3. Using the same Les Beige Foundation, dab a tiny bit in the inner and outer corner of the eyes to counter the signs of fatigue. It's a trick I've recently discovered thanks to Chanel's Beauty Talk with Gisele Bundchen and it really works.
4. Use the golden-beige shade of the Empreinte Du Desert eyeshadow quad and blend it all over the lids, enhancing as well the inner corner and the brow bone. Then, blend the brown and copper shades to create a delicate smoky eye. Moreover, to deliver a bit of freshness you can underline the lower lash line with the green shade.
5. To make the eyes pop, underline the upper and lower lash line with a brown Stylo Yeux Waterproof (like Feuilles) or with the eyeliner Ecriture de Chanel in Brun. Then coat the lashes with your favorite mascara.
6. Define the cheekbones with a bronzer (I used Chanel Lumière d'été Illuminating Powder from last summer, it is still pretty cool).
7. Highlight the cupid's bow with the golden-beige of the Empreinte Du Desert palette and then apply a coat of the Levrès Scintillantes Aqua Glossimer in Tanami.
7. Use a hint of blush on the cheeks, like Chanel Sunkiss Ribbon from the L.A. Collection.

È una collezione intrisa di luce. È estate a prima vista. Non aspettatevi niente troppo colorato dall’ultima limited edition di Chanel “Dans La Lumière de l'Été”, solo tanta naturalezza, luminosità e trasparenza. Per questo me ne sono profondamente innamorata, appare naturale, fa sentire a proprio agio. Ed è pure glamour.
Se vi state chiedendo come ho ottenuto questo look, ecco un tutorial passo per passo:
1. Preparate la pelle con Hydra Beauty Lotion Very Moist e poi applicate l’Hydra Beauty Micro Serum.
2. Stendete il nuovo fondotinta Les Belges su tutto il viso, partendo dal centro verso l'esterno. Non dimenticare il collo per ottenere un risultato uniforme.
3. Utilizzando lo stesso Les Beige Foundation, picchiettatene una piccola quantità negli angoli interni ed esterni (soprattutto) degli occhi per cancellare la stanchezza. È un trucco che ho scoperto di recente grazie ai Beauty Talks di Chanel con Gisele Bundchen, funziona favolosamente.
4. Utilizzate ora la tonalità beige dorata dell’ombretto Empreinte Du Desert e stendetela su tutta la palpebra mobile, sfumandolo leggermente verso l’esterno e anche negli angoli interni degli occhi. Poi, sfumate il marrone e il bronzo per creare uno smoky eye delicato mantenendo una forma dell’occhio allungata orizzontalmente. Se poi volete dare un piglio più fresco al tutto, applicate il verde sotto la rima ciliare inferiore, dall’angolo esterno dell’occhio verso il centro.
5. Per mettere in risalto gli occhi, sottolineate entrambe le rime ciliari (superiore e inferiore) con una Stylo Yeux Waterproof marrone (come Feuilles) o con l'eyeliner Ecriture de Chanel in Brun. Poi evidenziate le ciglia con il vostro mascara preferito.
6. Definite gli zigomi con un bronzer (io ho usato la Lumière d'été Illuminating Powder di Chanel della scorsa estate, è ancora super attuale).
7. Evidenziate l'arco di cupido con la tonalità dorata della tavolozza Empreinte Du Desert e quindi applicate uno strato di Levres Scintillantes Aqua Glossimer in Tanami.
7. Date un tocco di colore alle guance, usando un blush pop come Sunkiss Ribbon della Collezione L.A. Sunrise di Chanel.
Giocare con la luce non era poi così difficile, eh?
