La Prairie Cellular Swiss UV Protection Veil: the high-end sunscreen that doubles itself as a moisturizer, anti-age treatment and make-up primer.

I’m talking about La Prairie Cellular Swiss UV Protection Veil, an ultra lightweight sunscreen that works double duty acting as a calming and anti-aging daily moisturizer to brighten, hydrate, prevent fine lines and wrinkles and repair sun damages from the past.
Coming with an SPF50 / PA++++ broad spectrum protection, La Prairie Cellular Swiss UV Protection Veil sets apart from other sunscreens thanks to its power-packed ingredient list that, other than the well-known La Prairie Cellular Complex that revitalizes, energizes and moisturizes the skin, it also contains extracts from the Noble Edelweiss (Leontopodium alpinum extract), a resilient plant that enhances the skin’s ability to defy external stress. But the best has still to come, in fact La Prairie Cellular Swiss UV Protection Veil is (furthermore) filled with several antioxidants, soothing and anti-inflammatory ingredients, including Rose Fruit, Licorice, Cucumber and Mulberry Bark Extract which help decrease pigment formation in the skin (hence preventing the development of sunspots). Honestly, I’ve never been happier with a sunscreen, it really does what promises, leaving skin as soft and smooth as the best moisturizer, delivering a semi-matte finish that makes skin look gorgeous without makeup, wearing so well under foundation (I usually never use primers but with this underneath I can see the difference in terms of brightness) and not breaking my skin out at all (and I’m so prone to it). So yes, La Prairie Cellular Swiss UV Protection Veil is a win win in term of time, finish and effectiveness, so much so that we can justify the price.

Sto parlando del Cellular Swiss UV Protection Veil di La Prairie, una protezione solare ultra leggera che lavora su più livelli agendo quotidianamente come crema idratante, calmante e anti-aging per illuminare, idratare, prevenire le linee sottili e le rughe cosi come per riparare i danni causati dal sole in passato.
Caratterizzato da una immancabile protezione ad ampio spettro SPF50 / PA++++, il Cellular Swiss UV Protection Veil di La Prairie si distingue dalle altre creme solari grazie alla sua incredibile (e ragguardevole) lista di ingredienti che, oltre all’ormai noto Cellular Complex di La Prairie - che rivitalizza, energizza e idrata la pelle al meglio - si fa forte anche degli estratti di Stella Alpina, una pianta molto resistente in grado di migliorare le capacità della pelle nel combattere quell’invecchiamento causato dall’esposizione ai raggi UV e dai fattori ambientali dannosi. Ma non è finita qui, il Cellular Swiss UV Protection Veil è (inoltre) potenziato da diversi ingredienti antiossidanti e anti-infiammatori, tra cui lo Smart Crystal White, un complesso illuminante vegetale a base di Liquirizia che inibisce la produzione di melanina, migliora la luminosità della pelle, ne riduce l’opacità e ne uniforma il tono. Inoltre, l’Acido Ialuronico e la Lecitina aiutano a migliorare l'idratazione mentre il Lactobacillus Ferment promuove la salute della pelle (è particolarmente utile per l'eczema) e l’Acido Lysophosphatidic riduce visibilmente i pori. È abbastanza impressionante, non trovate?
Onestamente, non sono mai stata cosi soddisfatta da una crema solare in vita mia, fa davvero quello che promette, lascia la pelle morbida e liscia come il miglior idratante, conferisce una finitura semi-opaca che rende la pelle meravigliosa anche senza trucco, funziona bene anche sotto il make-up e, last but not least, non causa sfoghi di brufoli e affini (cosa a cui di solito non scampo). Quindi sì, il Cellular Swiss UV Protection Veil di La Prairie è un win win in termini di tempo, finish ed efficacia, tanto è vero che si potrebbe quasi giustificarne il prezzo.
