Intense and glamorous, yet clean. At Versace everything was about elegant women with high maintenance beauty. Think of Brigitte Bardot and you get the idea.
Pat McGrath at the make up put the focus on the eyes. First she brushed the eyelids with highlights and used a taupe shadow in the contours, then used two pair of faux eyelashes and eventually filled in the lash line with black liquid liner. Lips were very Bardot, beige and topped with lipgloss.
In charge of the hair, Guido Palau for Redken, created a high maintenance woman with glamorous hair. The hairstyle was long and straight and it had a Sixties-inspired lift at the crown.
First he added extensions for thickness and then kept the rest of the hair straight using a combination of Redken Pillow Proof Two Day Extender and Guts (a volumizing spray foam). After backcombing the Bardot inspired bump, the style was set with Forceful 23 hair spray.

La donna Versace del prossimo inverno è un’interpretazione in chiave moderna di Brigitte Bardot: intensa, affascinante ma semplice. Una bellezza pulita che, a un primo sguardo, sembra easy e facile da replicare ma che, in realtà, è frutto di ore e ore di cure, di trucco e di messa in piega.
Pat McGrath per il make up ha voluto mettere il focus sugli occhi usando ben due paia di ciglia finte per occhio, una riga di eyeliner e sfumature fatte ad arte con ombretto taupe e punti luce. Le labbra sono state tenute nude, usando un lipstick beige e illuminandole con un gloss. Molto Bardot, appunto.
All’hairstyling, Guido Palau per Redken, ha creato un look impegnativo e ricco di stile, fatto di capelli lunghi e liscissimi con un volume cotonato sulla testa per richiamare il vibe Sixties.
Per crearlo ha come prima cosa usato delle extensions per dare corpo alle chiome che ha poi stirato con la piastra dopo averle trattate con un mix di Pillow Proof Two Day Extender e Guts (una schiuma volumizzante). Dopo aver cotonato il volume alla Bardot ha fissato il tutto con l’hairspray Forceful 23.
