CONOSCI DAVVERO LA TUA PELLE?

Fino a una settimana fa, pensavo di si. Ero convinta di conoscere la mia pelle e di trattarla con i prodotti giusti. Poi, chez L’Erbolario, mi hanno fatto ricredere. In dieci minuti, mi hanno sottoposto a due test, uno per scoprire il mio tipo di pelle e uno, per conoscerne la vera età. Provateli anche voi, ne rimarrete sorprese!

IL MIO TIPO DI PELLE

Con due semplici patch, applicati per qualche secondo su guance e fronte, ho scoperto che la mia pelle non è mista come pensavo, bensì manca di idratazione a livello delle gote e sui contorni, mentre nella zona T è semplicemente normale, con qualche tendenza ad imperfezioni dovute a chissà che (stress, cibo, ormoni, insomma, le solite cose). Quindi bando alla mia crema detergente e benvenuta mousse, addio al mio tonico super esfoliante che è stato rimpiazzato da uno più leggero - la Lozione di bellezza Riequilibrante all’Acido Ialuronico - dall’azione leggermente astringente, per tenere i pori in allenamento e non farli rilassare, e dalla duplice funzionalità di tonico e maschera. Sulla crema da giorno, la Crema Viso a Tripla Azione all’Acido Ialuronico per fortuna, ci avevo azzeccato, ma da oggi la alternerò la sera con una crema più idratante - la Crema Viso Idratazione Intensa all’estratto di viola e alla foglie di Olivo - per conferire più glow e turgore alle zone che lo richiedono. Quest’ultima è stata una vera e propria rivelazione: pensavo di non amarla, temevo sarebbe stata troppo grassa e, invece, la Crema Viso Idratazione Intensa viene assorbita in un batter d’occhio, come un siero, e lascia la pelle liscia e vellutata fin dalla prima applicazione. L’unico trucco, invece di spalmarla, mi hanno consigliato di tamponarla sulle zone più secche. Et voilà! In ultimo, il siero, il Fluido Viso a Tripla Azione, anche quello, lo avevo già nel mio beauty-case. Diciamoci la verità. Alla fine mi è andata bene. I prodotti che la consulente L’Erbolario mi ha suggerito rientrano tutti nella linea all’Acido Ialuronico, che oltre a essere la mia preferita (infatti ne avevo già decantato le lodi qui), era già parte della mia beauty routine. Ci voleva solo qualche aggiustamento e qualche dritta in più e ora, a distanza di una settimana, la mia pelle risplende come non mai.

LA VERA ETÀ

Ecco, qui le mani hanno cominciato a tremare e il terrore correva sul filo. Nonostante io abbia già trent’anni ho un’avversione per le creme del contorno occhi. Sarà pigrizia, sarà un rifiuto ad accettare il tempo che passa? Non so, so solo che le uso solo quando sono veramente stanca nella speranza che in one single shot facciano il loro effetto. Beh, la speranza è sempre l’ultima a morire no?

Comunque, già mi vedevo con un test che urlava “la tua pelle ne dimostra 50 di anni” e invece… la genetica mi è venuta in aiuto e nel contorno occhi (dove il test veniva effettuato) non c’era neanche l’ombra di una ruga! Dopo il sospiro di sollievo, ovviamente la consulente mi ha gentilmente fatto notare che la crema occhi, alla mia età non va comunque saltata, anche se come semplice gesto di prevenzione. Chissà perché, sentirlo dire da qualcun’altra mi ha invogliato ad aggiungere questo gesto alla mia beauty routine. Ecco quindi che il Contorno Occhi a Tripla Azione della linea Acido Ialuronico è entrato a far parte dei miei gesti quotidiani. Il risultato? Ve lo saprò dire quando invecchierò :)

DO REALLY KNOW YOUR SKIN?

Until a week ago, I thought so. I was so convinced about it that I would have swear by my beauty routine. Then, chez L'Erbolario, they made me make up my mind in only ten minutes, just the time to put my skin through two tests: the first one to find out my skin type and the second one to know its real age. Try them out, you will be surprised.

MY SKIN TYPE

With two simple patches, applied for a few seconds on cheeks and forehead, I found out that I don’t really have combination skin as I thought but, in reality, my complexion lacks of hydration on cheeks while the T zone is just normal, with some tendency to imperfections due to who knows what (stress, food, hormones, in few words the usual things).

The outcome of this test was the following: I had to say goodbye to my beloved cleansing butter and to my exfoliating toner and welcome a new and lighter form of cleanser, a mousse, and a lighter tonic- the Rebalancing Beauty Lotion for face - that works helping the pores to stay fit and not to relax with time and can be used as a mask as well.

As for the day cream, I was lucky, I was already using what they suggested me - the Hyaluronic Acid Triple Action Face Cream - but from now on I have to alternate it with a more moisturizing cream at night - the Intense Hydration Face Cream - to give more glow and suppleness to areas that need it. The latter was a real revelation: I thought I would not love it, I feared it would be too greasy but, n the contrary, my skin absorbs it in a blink of an eye, like it would do with a serum, and the result is a more smooth and supple skin. The only advise they gave me was to dab it on the driest areas instead of spreading it all over. Last but not least, the serum, the Triple Action Fluid for Face, was another of my beauty allies.

Now, let's face it, overall my test went well. The products that the L’Erbolario’s consultant suggested were (almost) all from the Hyaluronic Acid range which, besides being my favorite (in fact I had already talked about it here), was already part of my beauty routine. What I needed were only a few adjustments and some tricks and now, after a week, my skin glows like never before.

THE REAL AGE

Ok, now here I was wicked scared. Although I just entered my thirties, I have an aversion for eye creams. Call it laziness but I use them only when I’m most tired hoping that in one single shot they will work their magic. Well, hope springs eternal.

Anyway, I was lucky enough and, around the eyes (where the test took place) there was not even a shadow of a wrinkle! After a sigh of relief, obviously the consultant kindly pointed out that at my ageeye cream can’t be skipped, even as a simple gesture of prevention. For some reason, hearing it from someone else convinced me and now the Hyaluronic Acid Triple Action Eye Contour has become part of my daily routine. The result? When I’ll grow old I will tell you :)
